Sts. Joachim and Ann volunteer receives Senior Service Award

Art Osseck thought God must be trying to tell him something after a car crash shoved his head through his windshield.

"I'm like a cat," Osseck said. "I had nine chances of dying."

After his accident in 1987, Osseck began volunteering with Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service. The 85-year-old is still at it, driving the charity's red van five times a week to pick up donated food from grocery stores.
