Peter will be standing up for hard-working Missourians today when Barack Obama brings his job-killing Show Me Tax Increases tour to Peter's hometown of Cape Girardeau. Peter is going to highlight Obama's numerous calls for higher income taxes, higher Social Security taxes, higher investment taxes and higher corporate taxes as well as Obama's call for massive new domestic spending. Peter will be participating in a conference call with Republican leaders and the media this morning to discuss Obama's dark proposals that also include a payroll tax hike and the income tax increase that would devastate Missouri's small businesses. So while Barack Obama is intent on misleading Missourians with his familiar rhetoric and empty promises, Peter will be on the front lines ensuring that Obama's tax-and-spend policies are exposed for all to see.
