Today, Peter Kinder picked up the endorsement of St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann. Ehlmann previously served as Circuit Court Judge and Minority Leader in the Missouri Senate

In his endorsement, Ehlmann said, "I am proud to endorse Peter Kinder for Governor. Throughout his entire career, Peter has demonstrated a strong record of proven effective leadership and I am confident that he will deliver the positive change Missourians deserve."

Ehlmann continued, "When Peter served as President Pro Tem of the Senate, he worked with Republicans and Democrats to lead Missouri through challenging budget years. He has always been a champion for the issues important to the St. Louis region and is the best candidate to lead Missouri forward."

Of note, St. Charles County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state with nearly 340,000 residents, and will play a pivotal role in the upcoming Primary Election.

In fact, according to data compiled by USA Today following the 2004 Presidential Election, St. Charles County’s 164 precincts delivered the third highest amount of Republican votes in the state and was by far the largest county which voted Republican.

The momentum is building.
